Former Chairman/CEO of Eployment.com Joins Technology Review Magazine.

Technology Review, MIT's award-winning Magazine of Innovation, announced today the appointment of John Haworth, former Chairman and CEO of Eployment.com, as Vice President for Business Development. In this capacity he will oversee the development of all new strategic initiatives for MIT's rapidly expanding diversified media enterprise.

Haworth was formerly the Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy for Qwest Cyber Solutions, in McLean, Virginia, a joint venture of Qwest Communications, International and KPMG. Haworth developed the original business plan for the venture that led directly to the creation of the largest ASP in the market today. Prior positions include Director of Corporate Strategy for PeopleSoft, of Pleasanton, California, the second-largest client-server applications vendor in the world, where Haworth completed the first comprehensive strategy for applications hosting among the Big Three ERP vendors. He was instrumental in the formation of the ASP industry from its inception, having negotiated groundbreaking alliances with USinternetworking and Corio, in addition to strategic alliances in the Applications Management and BPO market spaces. He was also a founding executive of a $200 million strategic initiative designed to provide hosted HR/Payroll and Benefits solutions to Fortune 1000 clients, while Vice President at Fidelity Investments in Boston.

Haworth holds a Master's Degree in Technology Strategy with high honors from the Institute for Technology, Strategy and Policy, a joint institute of MIT and Boston University.
