WA: State govt may consider judicial inquiry on 245-T
PERTH, Jan 16 AAP - The West Australian government may consider holding a judicialinquiry into claims that potentially deadly chemical 245-T, used to make Agent Orange,has been buried around the state.
Agriculture Minister Kim Chance today said he would call for a probe if the ministerialreview, which unearthed the claims, recommended such action.
The review is investigating the health of former Agriculture Protection Board workersfollowing fears a chemical they used on a weed-control program from 1975 to 1985 causeddeaths, illnesses and birth defects.
